Frequently Asked Ketubah and World Language Vow Questions

Our beautiful website is brimming with information needed to help you select your ketubah with the desired texts and personalized information. We update the site regularly and this section will be detailed with FAQs for your ease of ordering. We hope that we can facilitate any questions that you might have here. We are also always available by voice or email.

FAQs:

  • What pen do we use to sign the ketubah?
    We recommend using the Pigma Micron 02 (.3mm) by Sakura. This brand is known for its archival quality. It is our signature pen of choice at 20th Century Illuminations studio.
  • Can we change or add witness lines or text?
    On any of the ketubah designs marked as “giclee” we can make many minor changes without any extra charges, including adding or changing witness lines; adding a blessing or changing a word or two on our text. Please call with your specific requests to be sure we can make desired changes.
  • Can we display our ketubah at our wedding?
    Our ketubah are shipped to you in a sturdy tube for safety and efficiency. We include hanging instructions so that you can safely matt your ketubah for temporary display at your wedding.   • Can we change colors or design details on our ketubah?
    All of the ketubah which are giclee images can undergo some color or design changes. Special requests must be handled individually to be sure that we can honor the change request. Please contact the studio to make your special request. We try to honor all special requests if at all possible.
  • How long does it take to receive our ketubah after we place an order?
    We usually can ship a personalized ketubah about two weeks after we receive the initial order. We request 4 weeks for delivery, but most often can complete a personalized ketubah in about two weeks. We have a rush fee ($25) for any personalized orders placed under 14 days to the wedding date. There is no rush fee for non personalized ketubah.
  • Can you translate our English Vows into Hebrew?
    We work with a very talented and caring translator: Esti Mayer. Esti lives in Toronto and can be reached at: www.estimayer.com or we can send Esti your English for translation.
  • We are looking for a gift for parents, do you carry parent’s gifts?
    Amy’s beautiful illuminations can be crafted into unique parents gifts or special occasion gifts. Please visit the “gift ideas” section on our website to imagine a unique parent’s gift that will reflect your gratitude and love on this special day!
  • Can we see a text proof?
    Any of Amy’s giclees can be scanned to provide a proof. Just indicate this on the personalization form, include your email and we will send you a proof.
  • Can you send us a tracking number for shipping?
    We ship most of our ketubah ground UPS unless rush shipping is requested. UPS provides tracking service under the email return address: “quantumview”. If you include your email address with your order we will automatically send you a tracking notice from UPS.
